Pastors Bruce and Laura have been in ministry together since 1987.Their early ministry began as local Youth Pastor’s for Rev. A.J. Lewis at Bascom Assembly of God. Over the past 30 years, they have served in every area of church leadership and ministry. Pastor Bruce served alongside great men of God, which included Bro. RW Schambach and Pastor Rod Parsley as well as teaching at Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas. Under the direction Pastor Tommy Burchfield at Country Camp and Believers World Outreach. Those were all memorable ministry experiences as well as times of spiritual growth while seeing thousands of adults and youth experience the life changing power of God.
For the past several years, Pastor Bruce served as the Executive Pastor in Tyler, Texas alongside Pastors Rudy and CJ Bond. Pastor Bruce is Ordained through the Church of God, Cleveland TN. He and his wife, Laura are both excited, humbled and honored to serve as Lead Pastors of Elevate Worship Center in Gladewater, Texas. Pastor Bruce and Laura believe their ministry will always include empowering the local body of Christ to do greater works for the Kingdom of God. For the body of Christ to use their influence and reach outside of the four walls of the church while becoming grounded in the Word of God.
Pastor Bruce has positioned himself with the direction of the Lord “For such a time as this”. In addition, he believes the greatest days of the CHURCH are ahead as we see the last day harvest and great awakening occur that will usher in the return of Jesus Christ.
They were married in February 1984 and have one son, Heath. Which they consider is their greatest life accomplishment as he fulfills his own calling serving in full time music ministry in Austin TX.
